Bible verses on Faith and Boldness

Be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone and allow the Holy Spirit to direct you. Here are faith based verses from the Bible worth meditating on.

 We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds not reap. Ecclesiastes 11:4

Since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 2 Corinthians 3:12

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrew 11:1

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if people claim to have faith but have no deeds? Can such faith save them? James 2:14

The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:17

Very truly I tell you, all who have faith in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12

Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. 1 Corinthian 16:13

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-6

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the world about Christ. Romans 10:17

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? John 11: 25-26

You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you?” Matthew 17:17

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14  

Whoever believes in the son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see he life, for God’s wrath remains on them. John 3:36
