There are some conflicting beliefs about who and what the Holy Spirit is in Christianity.
For those who believe in the Trinity, He is the third person of the Godhead. Oneness Pentecostals believe that He is just another mode of God, but the same person as God the Father and Jesus Christ. Then you have groups like the Jehovah’s Witness which deny that the Holy Spirit is a divine person at all. Instead, they claim the Holy Spirit is an impersonal force.
