There are many countries around the world where being a Christian can be incredibly difficult, but one country in particular stands out as the worst place to be a Christian. That country is North Korea.

North Korea is a country that is notoriously closed off from the rest of the world, and its citizens are not allowed to practice any religion other than the state-approved version of Juche, a belief system that centers around the worship of the country’s leaders. Christians who are caught practicing their faith face severe punishment, including imprisonment, torture, and even death.
